PRIVACY POLICY / DATA CONFIDENTIALITY AND GENERAL TERMS OF SALE
1. Scope of Contract
These General Terms and Conditions apply to the sale of all products by PHOL-LABS LLC, made by phone, email, or through its online store to professionals, companies, consumers, users, or any other final recipient eligible for deliveries within and outside of Hungary, as specified in Clause 4 (international sales). Using PHOL-LABS LLC’s store services presumes, in all cases, agreement with these General Terms and Conditions. If a customer creates an account or makes a purchase, these terms are automatically accepted.
2. Prices, Payment Methods, Deliveries, Availability, and Product Returns
2.1 Prices
Prices displayed beside each product are expressed in Euros and include VAT at the rate applicable in the customer’s country of delivery, in line with the EU One-Stop-Shop (OSS) VAT system.
- For EU-based private customers, the VAT rate of their country of delivery is applied.
- For EU-registered businesses with a valid VAT ID, intra-community supply rules apply (0% VAT).
- For customers outside the EU, VAT is not applied.
Shipping costs, calculated based on the order, are visible in the shopping cart. PHOL-LABS LLC reserves the right to change prices at any time without notice.
2.2 Payment Methods Purchases can be paid by bank transfer to the accounts provided. PayPal is also accepted for secure and direct payments. PHOL-LABS LLC may verify information for security reasons, and reserves the right to decline a transaction if discrepancies are detected.
2.3 Shipping PHOL-LABS LLC ships using international mail from Hungary or Slovenia (Hungarian Post or Posta Slovenia). Shipments are handled according to the selected country, with both standard and priority shipping options. For orders under €15, low-cost shipping is available for lightweight items, such as magazines or low-cost goods, with tracking not always guaranteed. Please contact us if you want to negotiate the bulk order shipping price.
2.4 Returns If unsatisfied with a product, customers have 14 days to return it, starting from the day they received it.
2.5 Warranty and Claims Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer, if product is not sold as DIY or as parts. For consumables, the warranty period depends on the manufacturer of devices. Defective products will be repaired or replaced under warranty period.
4. International Sales
Shipping costs for orders outside Hungary will depend on the weight and volume of the items, confirmed to the customer before finalizing the order. International orders are subject to VAT for EU residents according to the VAT rate of the destination country (OSS system). Non-EU purchases are exempt from VAT, but any customs duties, local taxes, or import charges remain the customer’s responsibility.
Orders from Afghanistan, Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria can’t be satisfied due to the sanctions regime. PHOL-LABS LLC will not serve and did not serve any orders from this countries list.
VAT Notice
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING VAT TAXES IN EU COUNTRIES
PHOL-LABS LLC operates under the European Union One-Stop-Shop (OSS) VAT scheme. This means:
- VAT is charged at the rate applicable in the buyer’s country of delivery, not fixed at 27% Hungarian VAT.
- For EU business customers with a valid VAT ID, VAT-exempt intra-community supply rules apply.
- Non-EU customers do not pay VAT, but may be subject to customs/import duties in their country.
